Hi, my name is Princess Nyrobi Williams, but at the Menands shelter I went by the name Nabisco. I shared a cage with my Mom, sister and two brothers (since we were only three months old). On Veterans Day 2009, I was so vocal and cuddly that I was adopted and brought to a nice warm house where my pets (owners) told me I had free range of the entire house. I was scared at first, since this was the first time I was seperated from my family. I spent my first two days under the couch. After I was in my new house and just getting comfortable, I came down with an upper respiratory infection and my new pets took turns (mostly mom) feeding me and giving me water through a syringe every four hours. It took me about a week and a half to get back to my regular self. I'm all better now and I was able celebrate my first Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Christmas tree was AWESOME and I even received my first Christmas present and letter in the mail from my Grandmother! The best part about Christmas was boxing with the balls hanging from the tree limbs. I just turned six months and wanted to drop the Shelter a li'l note to tell you how happy I am. Thank you for taking of care of me until I was placed with a family who loves me! I hope my Mom, brothers and sister found good homes too!
Love, Nyrobi and my pets (Yolanda and Zaron)
