Director of Development (full-time, in-person)
Start Date: ASAP
Wage: $62,500-$65,000 per year
The Director of Development supports the mission and strategic goals of the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) by planning, implementing, and growing a comprehensive fundraising and donor stewardship program. Reporting to the Vice President for Development, this role provides both strategic direction and hands-on execution across individual giving, major gifts, events, and donor communications. This role collaborates extremely closely with the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications on special events and collateral materials, and with the Director of Institutional Relations on corporate and foundation support.

Adoption Counselor (full-time)
Starting Wage: $17.85 per hour
Availability: Four 9.5-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts; Saturdays required
The Adoption Counselor is part of a talented and dynamic team of Adoption Counselors, Animal Care Associates, and Community Relations Associates. Adoption Counselors are responsible for guiding potential adopters through all steps of the adoption process, conducting adoption follow-up calls and maintaining clean, safe adoption areas. Adoption Counselors also communicate with adopters if there are any issues post-adoption.
